The posters you see on this page were developed by students at Mt. Pleasant High School. Early in my tenure at Mt. Pleasant, 3 young men came to me saying they didn’t like the smoke in the school restrooms. They were willing to work on the problem, and thus began a successful anti-tobacco program. In addition to the posters you see here, the students developed commercials and a traveling Hip-Hop Group, All 4 One. The Knights Against Tobacco and Mt. Pleasant High School students have continued this project for 8 years with a grant from the Division of Public Health’s Community Contract.
